We found a young chaffinch chick (Fringilla coelebs) that had fallen out of the nest and nurtured it till he was able to fly and find his own food. After we released him into the wild, he kept returning to our house for over two weeks, until he learned to completely depend on himself. This time we were just having our lunch out on the terrace, when he landed directly on the pot and helped himself to some noodles - merrily ignoring our protests. :)
