Nest Watch
My Spring walks in the Richfield County Park are a nest watch enterprise, starting with a bald eagle nest and moving on to a red-tailed hawk nest. They are a couple of miles apart. Here is one of the adult eagles, perched near the nest. These close-ups show what a spectacular bird this is, not that those "in the know" need any reminders. I always chuckle a bit on these shots, harkening back to the line from No Country for Old Men....."you might say he doesn't have a sense of humor".
