CASTLE OF FRÍAS
The castle of Frías (12th century) surrounded by threatening clouds on a summer afternoon. This medieval castle is the main attraction of this beautiful town in the province of Burgos in Spain.
The colors and composition are breathtaking. But I am fascinated by the clouds that appear to be a standing wave pattern of water vapor almost centered above the turrets. The three-dimensional quality is noteworthy.
