There is a small pond in The Bahamas which was recently discovered to have the highest density of endangered seahorses on Earth. This special place still has no official protection, but scientists and conservation organizations are working hard to change that. If you would like to help support their efforts please get in touch with me, support projectseahorse.org and buy Guylian Chocolates!

I agree with Your Shot photographer Rose Ungvari who commented, "This is the most magical image of seahorses Shane! The back lighting created such beautiful silhouettes. I am saddened to read about the danger to them..." Your photo is so captivating and stops me to want to know more — which you successfully informed me in your caption. Keep up the good work Shane. You have made me care. Keep inspiring us to protect our planet. Well done.
