I was on a riding mower in our extra lot when I saw this beauty, who appeared not to be able to fly. I placed the Luna Moth on a pine tree branch, and finished mowing. When I went back to check on her, she had disappeared!!! I later learned that she was actually just hardening her wings after hatching, and apparently had flown away.
