Going Up
Carlos Coste was the first man to reach 100m on one breath without aid (no sled or device to pull him down)
He is pictured swimming in front of a light tunnel in a cenote in Mexico.
The light beam is only visible between 11:30 am and 2:00 pm, so we had to skip lunch to get this shot... the tacos would have weighed us down too much anyways.
This is so lovely Alex. I am immediately transported to another world, a mysterious adventure, and my imagination enjoys this journey. I agree with Your Shot photographer Nele Horemans who commented, "[W]ow it was surely worth missing the tacos to shoot this free diver in the beautiful light beam! [G]reat shot!" Thanks for the detailed caption further explaining what I am looking at. I love it.
