As I walked round the perimeter of Stanley Park in Vancouver I passed several small beach areas on this beautiful March day. This family out for a beach visit caught my eye. They were wearing jackets while I had taken mine off and had my sweater sleeves rolled up. Obviously, being Scottish, this was like summer to me.
