Autumn in Texas is usually greeted as a joke. But there are pockets of color, particularly in the Guadalupe Mountains in Far West Texas. It's a very rugged land of gray and brown rocks. But in the fall the bigtooth maple trees show out...giving a harsh land a beautiful pop of color.
