Orange-winged Dropwings are truly dazzling in flight with every flash of their fiery orange wings announcing them to all with the eyes to see. And to see them at their best, photograph them at their best, I am a great believer in getting into the aquatic habitat with them. So for this shot I was sat in the waters of the Arroyo Vilanos at eye level with my subject, immersing myself in it's habitat, sharing a brief moment with this magnificent insect.
