While I was walking on top of Tel Morib Dune, I saw a group of Emiratis watch the famous Tel Morib races, which take place ‎annually in the Western Region of Abu Dhabi on the UAE's highest sand dune. For several days, once a year, thousands gather for dune bashing, racing, camping and more, in an event that is unique to the UAE.
