A tight schedule and little time to spend exploring dictated the location and extent of the afternoon’s exploration. Staying close to home, the decision was made to try the path under the bridge; the path I had never followed before originates at a local college, follows along the water’s edge, turns to pass under the bridge and comes to a spot where fishermen try their luck. Fortunate that the sun was setting at the time, its colors reverberated off the concrete walls of the Hathaway Bridge.

Great seeing Kathleen. I am so happy that despite your tight schedule, you still made the time to go out and take pictures. I can feel you deliberately focusing on your composition, taking advantage of the architecture design of this bridge. I love the inclusion of the electrical tower in the background, the street lamp, the hint of trees. I love setting sun is casting a beautiful orange glow. Very, very well done. Keep exploring the world around you.
