    Kalarippayat or Kalarippayattu is an ancient Indian martial art that originated in Kerala and is still common in southern India today. Historical roots have the fighting technique in the action of ancient Indian warriors who, in order to avoid unnecessary bloodshed of their armies, two Kalarippayat fighters against each other, who fought for their rulers a duel to life and death.
