    VARANASI IS THE HOLIEST CITY IN INDIA. PEOPLE BELIEVE THAT THEY WILL REACH THE SALVATION WHEN THEY DIE AND THEIR BODIES GO INTO THE GANGES RIVER. MANY PEOPLE FROM INDIA AND AROUND THE WORLD GO THERE TO WITNESS THIS AMAZING CULTURE AND BELIEVES. THE ONLY WAY TO REACH THE GANGES IS TO GO THROUGH THESE STEPS CALLED GHATS. tHIS IS A SYMBOLIC REPRESENTATION OF THIS PILGRIMAGE TOWARDS SALVATION.
