It's all about timing when it comes to capturing unique and interesting landscape imagery. I pass this island between Nanaimo and Ladysmith regularly and have always admired it from the road. But on the morning I got up and saw the early morning fog rolling through, I knew I had to go and check it out. The tide was in, the water's calm and the mist/fog rolling through. All about mood for this shot and glad I had the instincts to get up and go.
