Painted Trillium
I have been searching for a painted trillium for 3 years, non stop searching every spring. Today however was my day. Not only did I find the painted trillium I had been looking for, but I found it near hundreds of pink & yellow lady-slippers, which I had also been looking for for 3 years. I found all 3 in one location, I was over joyed to say the least. This painted trillium was the first one I have ever found & the first one I have ever seen. These flowers are ultra rare in our area.
