When I visited my friends George & Hanna in western Germany, they were excited to take me to one of their favorite cafes, in nearby Kronenburg. They surprised me by telling me to climb the staircase. I discovered an old-world room filled with various fruit syrups in glass bottles. You could fill small bottles to your heart's delight. The lovely light was irresistible!
