Edit Photo Details Avalanche Lake   #adirondacks46ers
It was a cold November morning. Left the cabin at 4am with headlamps on and followed the full beaver moon 7 miles in to avalanche lake where the mist was burning off from the sun trying to break through. Behind the camera was a frozen, trembling girl knowing she had one best pictures she would have taken. Didn't stay for long, had another 8 miles to hike and hypothermia was setting in. Breath taking moment, one I will never forget.
