I found this exquisite object while exploring the beach beneath Vancouver's Volunteer Park, on a rare sunny winter's afternoon. The rich colours of the elements for which Vancouver is known - mountains and water, Stanley Park and downtown buildings in the distance - offered the perfect backdrop against which to set it.
