A cormorant fisherman waits silently for the fishes to attract at his oil lamp. Early morning moment at some less known corner of Li river where the magical mist passes by the Karst mountains at China. The reality and the reflections both made me think that I am still in my sweet dreams. It was great experience to roam around picturesque Yangshuo and document the work and life of these fishermen.

I see a lot of images on Your Shot of the Cormorant Fisherman, but this photograph stands out to me. I love how we have so much distance between us the and the fisherman that I am able to study every layer in this scene. From the water to the board, to the mountains in the background. I also love the toning work you did here, M. Ghosh. Great work.
