I love Virginia. It's where I live and where I grew up. I don't think most people know how diverse and wonderfully odd Virginia can be. Recently, on my budget based search to find regional adventures I discovered that there is a small pro wrestling organization here. It was an exciting match. Men against women, The Hooligans vs Pow-Meow. Though I had hoped for a feminist victory the ladies lost this fight. Something tells me they'll be back.

I did not expect to see a pro wrestling moment submitted to the Places We Love assignment. Thats one of the MANY reasons I love Your Shot. We put out a call for submissions and the you, the photographers, come up with such creative ideas and scenes to reveal to us. Love the action here and the reaction of the wrestlers in the ring. I love that the one of the right has his long hair swinging in the air as each of the fans in the front row enjoy the show. Well done, Alexander.
