Rising India signifies the rise of literacy amongst women of all strata. I clicked this picture in the lanes of Jodhpur's Brahmpuri. The picture amazes me because of it's uniqueness and contrast between the traditional and modern era. The mother in the picture is busy in household chores, at the same time the daughter epitomizing the modernity is studying. It's a beautiful depiction of Rising India where both traditionalism and modernism coexists without any clash.
