Sivan, Hindul Kovil is a magnificient cultural and religious monument located in the heart of Colombo city. It boasts a history of more than 100 years and daily attended by thousands of devotees. 9.30 -10 am is the best time for photography inside the temple as beams of sun rays seep through the narrow windows of the roof. Smoke from the pooja fills the interior making ideal setting for the seeping rays. Gigantic architecture dwarfs the devotees adding further mysterious feeling.
