Beijershamn Wetland
Beijershamn on the Swedish island of Öland is a wetland paradise for birds. It was created by accident as the site was initially meant to become a new harbour. Something went wrong with the construction and the project was abandoned. Over the years, nature took over and this rich wetland was created.
