    Cruentomycena viscidocruenta is the new given to the recently reclassified Mycena viscidocruenta This tiny mushroom has a cap which rarely reaches more than 15 mm in diameter, so, vivid though the colour is, it is often passed by unseen in the lush green vegetation of the New Zealand forest.
