    Gliophorus viridis is an intensely green mushroom only found in New Zealand. Where I live on the West Coast of the South Island, these are relatively common in the autumn month of May. Autumn is a rather exciting time of the year for photographers here, as we have an abundance of mushrooms of every colour imaginable.
