Concrete Jungle
New York City is known for its vibrant colors and lights, but when you look at it from above you lose most of it. I think this symbolizes how people are the heart and life of the city and when they aren't visible, it just becomes a ton of bricks and concrete. The "Life in Black and White" assignment inspired me to revisit my photographs from the past year and imagine them without color. This shot in particular was a perfect candidate.
