Taal Lake, adjacent to the holiday town of Tagaytay, Luzon, the Philippines. The launch point for Bangkas (outrigger boats) out to Volcano Island is the small lakeside town of Talisay. Inside Taal Lake lies an island called Volcano Island, and on that island is Taal Volcano. With more than 47 craters and 35 volcanic cones, Taal Volcano remains one of the world’s deadliest volcanoes.
