Edit Photo Details The path to our English village   #england #sussex #village
A late Sunday evening in Sussex, England. As the sunlight dips, millions of buttercups are a vibrant yellow on the field known as Hobbs Eares (Hobbs is an old English word for devil, and the field was probably so named because it was poor quality for growing crops). Our village of East Dean lies directly ahead, a quintessentially English village near the coast.
