Fresh Catch
I watched this eagle eat some of the fresh catch you see here in it's talons, and knowing that it's juvenile bald eagles were waiting in the trees, I anticipated it would be going there next, so I backed off from photographing this eagle on the bridge, to about 300 feet away. Knowing this was likely to be my best opportunity in years to get the shot my portfolio was missing, I took a deep breath, adjusted my camera for and action shot and as it flew right over me, I was able to get this shot.
