I recently returned from the Grand Teton National Park with this image of Grizzly 399 which is most notably one of the oldest and most famous grizzly mothers. She is now approximately 22 years old and has birthed 2 more cubs after Snowy, one of her offspring was killed by a suspected hit and run a few years ago. I am extremely saddened that the Wyoming Game and Fish Commission has approved Wyoming’s first grizzly hunt in 44 years at a time in which 58% of the world’s wildlife is in decline.
