This must be a male chuckwalla because it looks like a mini-komodo dragon, compare to the other ones I see. They normally show up on top of the rocks around 10am to noon. This beautiful lizard must be out hunting. I saw a quail bird in front of it and I swear, I held my breath and thought it would chase after it.
