The table next to mine had crumbs and fallen alfalfa sprouts from its previous occupant while outside, the squint-worthy sunlight washes away all detail beyond the extended roof's shade. The restaurant is the best sandwich shop in town and as good as any I've ever visited... but I hadn't yet eaten. Perhaps, I was a wee bit grouchy!
