Black vs White, Slave vs. Free
This lphoto was taken at a historic civil war battlefield near Murphesboro, TN. The large stones in the middle of the woods were used as trenches during a bloody civil war battle. The fighting was so fierce, the area was said to resemble a butchers shop. Putting this photo in black and white makes it even more thought provoking for me. It was one of those places where you couldn't help but think of what it would have been like to have been there during the Civil War.
