Two's Company... Three's Amazing
Incredibly, this is a single tulip bloom... well, kind of. It is actually a triplet consisting of three individuals sharing a conjoined stem. It lasts nearly twice as long as the tulips around it and, last year, I had planned to document its stages but rambunctious tanagers broke it off before I could. I brought it inside and imaged it over the next few days, instead. Sadly, after three seasons in my yard, it did not return this year.
