Wild flamingos
Wild flamingos in small pond in Tanzania. When I traveled, I had heard that flamingos were not in typical place like Lake Nakuru because of environmental change, especially water height prevents them from comfortably staying and eating in shallow water. So, I did not expect to see them in my trip. But, when I had lunch in Serengeti small lake, maybe not even as famous as it is named, I saw several dozens of flamingo. I was so happy to see two kinds of wild flamingos in close distance.
I agree with Your Shot photographer Lisa C. Eaton who commented, "Such a dreamy shot you captured. I love the soft lighting that goes so well with the flamingos' coloring. Truly exceptional and pleasant to see." Thank you for sharing the story behind this photo. Your photo is so beautiful. Great seeing. Well done Eiji.
