Taken within the first ten seconds of totality of the eclipse of august 21, 2017. I was located at a farm on the northern outskirts of Salem, Oregon. I spent many days researching the best exposure to optimize for the most corona to be captured by a digital camera. Of course, it doesn't come close to the size one can see with your eyes, but I was very happy with how the raw image was able to capture to color and details in the corona; and a larger amount of corona than any other I've seen.
