During that 2016 trip to Chocó, we visited an indigenous community close to Bellavista. Although these people have very poor living conditions, there are two things that stand out in this picture. The first is how deeply western culture has permeated into cultures around the globe and in the most remote places: the baby doll, the clothes... The second is how dogs have become such an important part of human lives. They love us unconditionally and remain by our side no matter what.
