While driving in the mountains near Yellowstone National Park, we cruised along the thin roads that hug the mountain edge.Without warning, this pair of cranes appeared at eye level along side our vehicle. (I was the passenger.) The perspective was unlike I've ever experienced. Attempting to keep steady, I was able to get a few shots before they eventually gained elevation and flew out of site.
