Edit Photo Details Portrait of Chickadee   #bird #chickadee
I'm used to takin photos of very colorful birds. So I'm thinking what kind of bird might present itself gracefully in a black & white photo. Then I came across this chickadee, which by its very nature is black & white with shades of grey. And I saw things in the black & white photo I have not seen in color photos of a chickadee. Like the subtle comb of feathers above its beak. I think I will experiment with some other birds as well. Photographed in the Blue Ridge Mountains, central Virginia USA.
