Makar Sankranti is a festival which is devoted and dedicated to the sun god, Surya. Many people also take a dip in the holy waters of Ganga to commemorate the auspicious festival. Here, there are three different kinds of people. One is the flower seller, who is selling flowers to the devotees to offer to the river Ganges, second are the devotees themselves, and the third are the guards, who are there for the devotee's protection.
