    The Struma meanders from Sofia down many different valleys to feed in Greece Lake Kerkini, a bird migration treasure, before finally emptying into the Aegean near Thessaloniki. At this time of year the rain is frequent and the snow melt from the Rila make the river flow quickly. The green is refreshing, usually fishermen are here but the right bank looks like a great spot for a picnic. I took the shot from a bridge which I used to stabilize the camera with the slow shutter speed
