As in all places that are passable to be tourist,maintaining cultural identity and tradition becomes a bit difficult.The aggressive explosion of the real estate make everything uniform,dull and dying.What appears to be the source of life is nothing more than a foretold death.With regard to the rich traditional Algarve architecture,much has already been lost and with each passing day,more will be lost to the detriment of hotels,apartments and resorts.
