Hundreds of buddhist pray in the night of flower garlands and coloured lanterns in Quan Am Bodhisattva Buddha Day, a respectful ritual to pray for peace and health of mankind in Dien Quang pagoda, Bac Ninh province, northern Vietnam. At the ritual, virgin girls will be selected to stand in the first row. It starts when the sun goes down the horizon and will continue for 3 hours.

First, thanks for writing a detailed caption that explains what I am looking at. I really do appreciate it very much. I love learning something new, especially when inspired by such a beautiful photo. Great job making this frame wide, revealing the size of the faithful participants while also taking advantage of the patterned repetition created in their numbers. Great seeing. Well done Tran.
