    The Brecon Mountain Railway is a marvellous narrow-gauge railway that operates steam services from just outside Merthyr Tydfil in Wales. It is unique in Britain in using locomotives built by Baldwin in the USA. Here, locomotive number 2 makes steam while the points are changed prior to recoupling to the train for the return journey.
