Pooram is an annual festival held in various temples in Kerala, India and the main feature are the decorated elephants carrying colourful umbrellas and deities of gods and goddesses. Groups of male dancers in traditional attire perform a dance and spectators often give them money. In an amazing show of dexterity, the dancers pick up the money using their eyelids or nostrils, much to the delight of the crowd, never once supporting themselves with their hands as they bend to pick up the notes.
