Starry night over the plains of Castelluccio (Central Italy). Surrounded by the Appennine mountains peaks, this is one of the darkest spots I can find in Italy. The small village of Castelluccio was destroyed by a series of earthquakes in 2016, but the plains are still full of lentil plants sprinkled with poppies flowers. For the villagers the lentils are the only source of income to help rebuild the comunity.
