    Birds - the amazing creatures we usually see flying effortlessly through the air. The way they fly may seem simple, but actually involves many different factors. If it's windy, they have a difficult time controlling their directions. High-flying birds, such as birds of prey, use updrafts to lift them upwards. They need to be able to gauge this so they can escape from a predator or catch prey, and that is truly amazing.
