Edit Photo Details The Dark side of Science   #nonukes #neveragain #rockyflats #nucleartrigger #fusionenergy
For every bright side of any subject, such as science, there is an opposing dark side. This is one such example, a live- nuclear bomb trigger manufactured at the Rocky Flats Nuclear facility near Boulder Colorado. Recently there was an exhibit at the Boulder Public Library, which is where I took this photo. The trigger was in a very secured box, with no risk of radiation contamination to us visitors. It was very eerie, gave my goosebumps.
