    At first, I arrived at the bus station "The Peak" and was surprised, how little people were on the "viewing platform" until I realised that this platform was heading into the other direction. So I checked the hiking route around The Peak. After a short walk, my breath was taken away by this stunning view! Immediately, I set up my tripod at the perfect spot, until a few minutes later other photographers arrived to reserve their spot. That was exactly why I came extra early!

    This is so beautiful Matthias. I love how wide you shot this photo. My eye wanders through the frame, exploring the Hong Kong cityscape. I feel the energy of the city down below, and yet I feel at peace being so distant, high above on this perch. I also love your story, sharing your experience behind this photo. I am happy you got there early, because this photo is awesome. I bet it looks awesome printed big, framed on your wall.
