    As beautiful as it might seem, this is the reason behind the sufferings of 1 in 8 women in the US and millions of women worldwide. This Breast Cancer cell was captured by me with a Scanning Electron Microscope, the dotted white line (below) indicates the scale of 10 micron. I also pseudo colored the picture and gave it an interesting look. Those beautiful protrusion out of the cells giving it a rough look are the microvilli, which are typical of an invasive metastatic cell.
